I picked this up for craft work. I do a lot of crafting at a low table, and usually sit on the floor. There's enough padding in the seat and back to keep the frame from getting uncomfortable, and I was able to sit for long periods without hurting.It adjusts into several positions, from sitting straight up to laying flat, to completely folded, and each position feels solid and secure. I was a little nervous leaning back in it, but it supported me easily. I like that it both folds flat and lays flat as that makes it easy to store when not in use. I just tuck it under my working table.The chair is reasonably lightweight, especially for how sturdy it is, and I love the backpack straps, which make it easily portable for sporting events or concerts.
