I used this around the campfire to keep my tush warm during the cold camping nights. I purchased a battery pack and hooked it up and it was good to go! The one thing I don't love is after a while, the temperature slowly goes from high to medium to low to off - I'm guessing that is normal as my car seats do that too. I just turn it back on and am good to go. Recommend for anyone camping on the colder nights, sitting in a chair with a blanket over them, and it's so cozy. Probably would be nice for the hunters too! My battery pack didn't even go down a notch in the few hours I had it on.
